Score of 0 -9:                      You are significantly unhappy – but there is hope!

It’s going to be fine. We all go through rough patches and judging by your answers, life has not been sweet or easy for you for the last little while. Take heart, people grow through triumphing over their personal challenges, and you will too. Periods of unhappiness can lead to emotional and professional growth. What is it your heart truly desires? What goals do you wish to achieve? If you have scored here for your happiness test, you may be calling out for a change. Be brave – you CAN do it! See some tips below on how to improve your happiness and change your life.

Score of 10-19:                  You have some unhappiness issues, so let’s work on them!

You’re not supposed to be happy all the time. Life has its ups and downs. If you have scored in this bracket for the happiness test, it’s likely that you are not miserable, but you clearly have some areas of your life that you’d like to improve. Spend some time thinking about the areas of your life where you are satisfied and content. What is going well for you right now? Then nail down a short list of the top 5 things that you’d like to work on over the coming year – make the list specific and don’t be too harsh with yourself!

Score of 20-44:                  You have an average level of happiness, so there is room for improvement!

Nice job! You have identified plenty of things in your life that make you happy; it’s likely that you have some sort of support network around you and you may have some interesting personal or work projects on the go. The other thing to note if you have scored in this bracket is that there is room for improvement. Even though you have lots to “high five” yourself about, there are things you’d like to get better at; there are areas of your life that may be crying out for some attention. How is your health, your work, your family relationships? Are you paying attention to your goals and career mapping?

Score of 45-60:                  Congratulations! You are a very happy person! Life win!             

Congratulations! If you’ve scored in this bracket for the happiness test, it’s likely that you have a high level of personal happiness. You know who you are and you are confident with the direction your life is heading. Now, let’s learn how to keep this feeling. Keep this happiness test on file and do it again in 3 months to check how you’re tracking. Has your happiness improved? Has it stalled? Happiness should be a constant goal in your life, so now that you have a good indication of your personal level, aim to keep this – after all, you deserve the very best!
